Monday: Personal Renewal

 

• Give thanks to God for Jesus Christ’s death on the cross in our place (2 Cor. 5:21)

• Pray God would strengthen you as you wait on Him (Is.40:31)

• Pray God would reveal the good works he has prepared for you to walk in (Eph 2:10)

• Pray God would refresh your thirsty soul with the Holy Spirit (Jn.7:37)

• Pray that your passion for God will not be surpassed by any other passion

• Pray for an increased desire to feed on God’s word

• Pray that your life would be increasingly marked by one thing, seeing and savoring the beauty of God in all of life (Ps. 27:4)

 

Tuesday: Global (Col 1:6)

 

• Give thanks to God that the Gospel is the power of God for salvation and that it is advancing to the ends of the earth

• Pray for God to send laborers into His harvest (Matt 9:38)

• There are 16,349 distinct ethno-linguistic people groups in the world.

• Praise God 9702 people groups have an indigenous Christian witness.

• Please pray for the 6,647 people groups that have no Christian witness. This represents 2.75 Billion people. Most of these lie in Muslim and Buddhist nations. Pray for the light of the Gospel to shine into the darkness of these false religions

• Please pray for the 4400 languages that have no scripture in their own language. Pray for ministries like Wycliffe bible translators, and Open Source Mission as they translate scripture and Christian materials into other languages

• Thank God for work of Christ that will secure worshipers from every tribe, tongue and language and nation (Rev.5)

 

 

Wednesday: Sovereign Grace Ministries

 

• Give thanks to God for Sovereign Grace Ministries

• Pray for the Leadership Team: CJ Mahaney, Dave Harvey, Jeff Purswell, Josh Harris, Pat Enis

• Pray for our Regional Leadership: Danny Jones, Jim Britt

• Pray for current church plants: Unreached People Groups, Australia, Nassau: Cedric Moss, Downtown Philadelphia: Kenny Lynch, Peoria-AZ: Chris Daukas, Fredericksburg-VA: Ken Delage, San Francisco-CA: Toby Kurth

• Financially: Ask God to provide financially to support SGM and future church plants

• Ask God for more church plants

 

 

 

 

Thursday: Local

 

• Give thanks to God for SGC and your pastors (Heb. 13:17-18)

• Pray for your pastors: Humility, Servant Leadership, Wisdom, Preaching, Communication, Lead their families well

• Pray for Church Growth: Deeper love for God and others, Understanding of the Gospel, Ears to hear the preached Word, Unity, Holiness

• Pray for Church Growth: Evangelism, Conversions, Ask God to add to our number (Mt. 28:18-20; Acts1:8)

• Financially: Ask God to provide financially for our mission and for a building

 

 

Friday: Local

 

• Give thanks to God for your care group (Eph. 1:23)

• Pray for your Care Group Leaders: Faith to lead, Refreshment in the Gospel, Pray specifically for your care group leader and his family

• Pray for your Care Group: specifically for each person in your group

 

 

Saturday: Personal

 

• Give thanks to God for personal evidences of his grace in your life and in your family

• Pray for greater understanding and love for God and the Gospel (Eph. 3:14-21)

• Pray for a greater filling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit (Gal. 5:16-26)

• Pray for a greater love for God and others

• Pray for humility, joy, a servants heart, and holiness (Eph. 5:1-2)

• Pray for your family and vision for your role in your family (Eph. 5:22-6:4; Pr. 31)

 

 

Sunday: Local/Personal

 

• Give thanks to God for the privilege to meet corporately as a church (1 Thess. 5:16-18)

• Ask God to reveal himself to you through the preached Word

• Ask God to save people through the preached Word

• Ask God to use you to serve the church today (Mk. 10:45)

• Pray for those serving us today
